Production costs are high and ticket sales only cover 60% of our operating and program costs. The generosity of individuals, corporations and foundations help us make up the remaining 40% and help the Playhouse continue to be a leading cultural institution for Southern California.

In addition to producing a wide range of performances of the highest level of artistry year after year, Pasadena Playhouse touches the lives of thousands of young people through partnerships with local schools, student matinees performances and theatre access programs for at-risk teens. Community outreach programs, including conversations with celebrated artists, discounted ticket services, and performances for special needs audiences, help make Pasadena Playhouse accessible to the diverse audiences of Los Angeles.
