Emergency Telephone During a Performance
For emergencies during a performance, patrons can be reached by calling (626) 204-7383. Please leave your seating location with those who may need to contact you.
It is not possible to seat you in your assigned location after the performance has begun. A monitor in the lobby is available for latecomers. We will seat you at the back of the theatre if there is an appropriate pause in the production.
The Playhouse tries to accommodate all seating requests. Sometimes handicapped seating is very limited, or access is limited so please call (626) 356-7529 for assistance. Unfortunately we do not offer handicapped access to The Carrie Hamilton or our mezzanine.
Assisted Listening Devices
A limited number of assisted listening devices are available for the main stage only on a first-come, first- serve basis, free of charge. Ask an usher upon entering the theatre for assistance.
There are several well-lit, inexpensive parking lots surrounding the theatre. There is also free street parking available for Sunday performances and weekdays after 6pm. Please read all signs before parking. Pasadena Playhouse does not manage parking around the facility and is not responsible for citations, lost or stolen vehicles, or items left in vehicles. If possible, please do not park on Mira Monte Place. Parking is reserved for residents with permits.
Click here to visit www.concerthotels.com for a comprehensive list of hotels in the area.
Cell Phones and Social Network Devices
Using your cell phone during the performance disrupts the cast and other guests. We ask that all cell phones and social network devices be shut off before you enter the theater. Please do not use them at any time during the performance. Please be mindful of the actors on stage and your neighbors in the audience.
Pre-Order at Concessions
Before the show begins, get ahead of the crowd and place your drink order for intermission. Avoid standing in line so that you can enjoy the Courtyard and Friendship Center.
Returned Check Policy
The Pasadena Playhouse will charge a minimum "Returned Check Fee" of $25 for every check returned. If the Pasadena Playhouse receives two (2) returned checks from the same individual within a year, that individual will only be permitted to pay with cash, credit card or cashier’s check for the remainder of the season.
Herbal cigarettes and other approved devices may be used on stage during our performances. If you are allergic to any forms of smoke or do not wish to be exposed to smoke, an usher will be happy to move you towards the back of the house to make your experience more enjoyable.
Rush tickets may be purchased to all 2012-13 subscription performances ($20 for plays/$30 for musicals). Tickets may be purchased at the Box Office beginning one hour prior to the performance. Subject to availability.
As young children can be distracting to other patrons, The Pasadena Playhouse does not normally admit children under six years of age. Each patron, regardless of age, is required to have a ticket for admission into the theatre.
Miscellaneous Tips: Please unwrap all gum and cough drop wrappers before you enter the theatre. Drinks purchased at concessions are allowed inside with a lid or cap, but no food is permitted. The theatre is air-conditioned and heated for your comfort, please dress appropriately. There is no smoking allowed in the theatre or on the patio at any time. Please avoid wearing strong perfumes or cologne.
Management reserves the right to refuse admission and to make any alteration in the cast, which may be rendered necessary by illness or other unavoidable causes.
The Pasadena Playhouse is committed to providing a quality experience for you and your guests. If you are dissatisfied, for any reason, please notify the House Manager or Hospitality Manager at intermission and we will work to provide you with an experience at the theatre we know you’ll enjoy.
