 The Lyric Project fosters and celebrates a new generation of songwriters from the Pasadena community. Out of 500 participants, 14 student lyricists, ages 12-18, were selected and paired with professional composers who set the lyrics to music. During this hour-long concert, performed by young singers and a small band of professional musicians, the audience will have an opportunity to meet these gifted young poets through the stories and the feelings that they will share.
