Pasadena Playhouse Alumni Association

Since 1953, the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni Association has been a heartfelt tribute to the legacy of our College of Theatre Arts, a place that shaped generations of artists including beloved names like Gene Hackman, Sally Struthers, Dustin Hoffman, and Leonard Nimoy. Though the college closed its doors in 1969, the spirit of connection and creativity it inspired has lived on through the Alumni Association.

For decades, alumni and friends have stayed connected, preserving cherished archives, supporting community projects, and celebrating the enduring bonds that began at the Playhouse.

Now, as we celebrate our Centennial, we’re excited to relaunch the Pasadena Playhouse Alumni Association with fresh energy and a renewed commitment to building a vibrant, supportive community of past students, artists, and staff. With a spirit of lifelong learning and connection, we’ll offer opportunities for professional growth, creative exchange, and meaningful reconnection, honoring where we’ve come from while supporting where we’re all headed next.
