The Mainstage Season kicks off with an all-new Pasadena Playhouse production of Friedrich Dürrenmatt’s chilling classic The Visit adapted by Maurice Valency, directed by Tony Award-winner Darko Tresnjak, starring Tony Award-winner Jefferson Mays, and featuring some of the amazing creative team behind this season’s critically acclaimed production of Amadeus; the Los Angeles premiere of the Tony Award-winning rock musical Passing Strange, directed by Tony Award-nominee Zhailon Levingston; the first post-Broadway production of the lauded Real Women Have Curves: The Musical; and a new production of the Tennessee Williams masterpiece Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, directed by Jessica Kubzansky and starring three-time Tony Award-nominee Alfred Molina. The season will also feature one more Mainstage production, as well as Youth and Family Programming to be announced at a later date.
