Enjoy a Mexican Zócalo where artists and the community can taste sugar skulls, smell fresh marigolds, enjoy children’s calaca face painting, performances from the Bob Baker Marionettes, and more! This free, family-friendly community event presented by Zona Rosa Caffe and Pasadena Playhouse.

Zona Rosa Caffe’s legendary Dia De Los Muertos festival is back and bigger than ever for its 23rd year on Saturday, October 28th! Many of these works of art will be on display leading up to the event at Zona Rosa Caffe beginning October 9th and running through November 12th.

Performance Schedule

3:00PM – Ballet Folklorico Quetzal dancers – Playhouse Pavilion Plaza
3:00PM – 5:30PM – The Friends of the Pasadena Playhouse will host free 15-minute site tours of the Main Stage Theatre, Lobby, and Courtyard. Tours will begin in front of the Georgia T. McClay Friendship Center in the Courtyard. (Maximum of 8 people per group)
3:30PM – 4:00PM – Vroman’s Children’s Story Time – Playhouse Pavilion Plaza
4:00PM – Ballet Folklorico Quetzal dancers – Playhouse Pavilion Plaza
5:00PM – Southern California Children’s Museum Story Time – Pasadena Playhouse Courtyard
6:00PM – Bob Baker Marionettes – Pasadena Playhouse Courtyard
7:00PM – Bob Baker Marionettes – Pasadena Playhouse Courtyard
7:00PM – 10:00PM – Music performed by CALDO at Zona Rosa Caffe
