Musical Theater Dance: All Levels Summer 2026  | 

Ages 18+

Designed to be both a great workout and a fun intro to musical theater dance technique, this cardio-focused dance class will keep you sweating to your favorite showtunes! Each class will begin with a warm-up and stretch, transition to across-the-floor exercises, then culminate in a learning a combination to a different Broadway banger every week. All levels are welcome, whether you’re completely new to dance, or you want to brush up on your skills. Start your summer Saturdays right by taking center stage in this energetic and inclusive class!

 

PLEASE NOTE: We have a limited number of partial scholarships available, which will be offered on a rolling basis. If you are interested in a scholarship, please apply using the link below.

Taleen Shrikian (Teaching Artist)

Taleen Shrikian is an Armenian-American performer, educator, and choreographer who was born and raised in Southern California. Taleen attended Boston College where she was a member of the BC Dance Ensemble and earned her BA in Theatre Arts and Minor in Education. After graduating from BC, Taleen returned to Southern California and has been working consistently as an LA-based performer in the Theatre/TV/Film industry, represented by Bloc talent agency. As a performer, some of Taleen’s favorite credits include the National Tour of Evita and regional productions of Grease (La Mirada/McCoy Rigby Entertainment); The Wizard of Oz (Musical Theatre West); Kinky Boots (Moonlight Amphitheater); Mamma MiaWest Side Story (5-Star Theatricals); Legally Blonde (Candlelight Pavilion); Cabaret (Anchorage PAC); In the Heights (Lewis Family Playhouse); The Madwoman of Chaillot, A Christmas Carol ‘15-‘19 (A Noise Within); an episode of Nickelodeon’s “The Thundermans”; and the short film “Give Me an A” (selected for Cannes Film Festival last year). As an educator, Taleen has taught dance and theatre at schools, studios, theatre companies, and arts enrichment programs across LA and Orange counties. As a choreographer, she has choreographed dance concerts and musicals at the middle school, high school, and college level. Some of her favorite musical theatre choreography credits include productions of Footloose, Once Upon a MattressSomething RottenLegally BlondeWe Will Rock YouMamma MiaHigh School Musical, SpongeBob SquarePants The Musical, and Beauty and the BeastTaleen is currently a member of the Arts Faculty at Sage Hill School in Newport Beach and was most recently seen on stage performing in a production of Saturday Night Fever at Moonlight Amphitheater in San Diego, CA.
