Eureka Day |
September 10 — October 5When a mumps outbreak hits a progressive private school in Berkeley, the well-meaning Board of Directors descends into full-blown chaos trying to create a perfectly inclusive vaccination policy. Spoiler: it does not go well… As passive-aggression turns into a hysterical meltdown, Eureka Day brilliantly taps into the current American moment. Don’t miss this razor-sharp, 2025 Tony Award-winning satire from Jonathan Spector that Time Out New York calls “comic gold”.
Eureka Day is presented with generous philanthropic support from Honorary Producers Mary Lou Byrne and Gary W. Kearney and Tammi and Lenny Steren.

The Wine Wednesday performance of Eureka Day will be on Wednesday, September 10 at 8:00 PM.
Interactive Post-Show Workshop
Join a free Interactive Post-Show Workshop with Teaching Artist Nabra Nelson. Using text from the play and Newspaper Theatre techniques, you will have the opportunity to bring your own context and lived experience to the subjects of the play. By the end of this 45 minute workshop, you will create a brief 10 second performance piece inspired by the play to share with the group! By sharing with the other participants, this private, iterative performance-based discussion will unlock new meanings, connect the play to our own community, and offer a unique reflection around a complex subject matter.
The Eureka Day Interactive Post-Show Workshop will be on Saturday, September 13 directly following the 2:00 PM performance.
